Position : Industrial Millwright ($45.64 / hr) at Gerdau North America.

What The Position Entails

• Inspect, install, repair, replace, and adjust mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Service the mechanical aspects of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic / pneumatic systems.
• Receive instructions, prints, and work orders for scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work.
• Find effective repair methods to minimize production interruption.
• Advise when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporary operation poses no harmful effect.
• Maintain specified records of work performed, repair details, and material usage in CMMS, work orders, logbooks, and checklists.
• Perform round checks of machinery condition using checklists or digital tools to identify abnormalities and ensure machine functions operate within normal specifications.
• Perform assigned maintenance work on large and small producing units.
• Operate power‑driven mobile equipment and ordinary crane hooking.
