Overview of the Role
The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for managing, coordinating and optimizing the supply chain network and transportation activities, and ensuring the continuous improvement of procedures, processes and results.
How you will make contributions that matter
- Provide first‑class transportation services for internal stakeholders and external customers
- Carry out freight bookings, load tenders and truck assignments (weekly schedules & changes)
- Audit, code and track invoices (detention charges, rates, backup, corrections, etc.)
- Maintain freight & 3PL trackers (truck assignments / outside warehousing master)
- Assist with period end (statements, accruals) and annual budgets
- Manage resolution of operational issues and adapt to changing priorities based on business needs
- Monitor and analyze the performance of freight carriers to improve carrier performance
- Act as a link between carriers and the various Saputo internal departments
Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field and equivalent job experienceTransportation operations experience preferableExperience participating in cross‑functional teamsAbility to develop relationships with all levels of managementStrong communication, multi‑tasking, planning, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSelf‑motivated, organized, detail‑oriented; integrity is essentialBenefits
