Job Title: Healthcare Consultant

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: Contract

We’re looking for an experienced HL7 FHIR & Digital Health Standards Specialist to support a major healthcare initiative focused on reducing administrative burden for providers and improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements, create specifications, and engage with stakeholders.
• Develop, validate, and troubleshoot HL7, FHIR artifacts.
• Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical teams to deliver digital health standards.
• Support streams of work including referrals/consults, health service directory, and eForms.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years working with digital health standards (HL7, FHIR, SNOMED-CT, LOINC).
• Canadian healthcare experience (acute, primary, or community care).
• Hands-on with FHIR tooling (Simplifier, HL7 Validator, Forge, FHIR Shorthand).
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills.
