Your Contribution

As a Civil Technologist, you will work in collaboration with the Civil Engineering team

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner following all applicable regulatory requirements and contract specifications.
  • Generating deliverable documentation, including technical reports, site reviews and letters, summaries, data sheets, graphs, and qualification packages.
  • Interacting with contractors and subcontractors regularly, including presenting and discussing outcomes with project teams.
  • Assisting engineers and project managers with project execution during all project phases.
  • Perform site reviews, gather data, and prepare reports under the direction of the project manager related to structural, building envelope and roofing components.
  • Aid in generating deliverable documentation (i.e.. drawings and specifications) for structural, building envelope and roofing projects, which requires accuracy in calculations, information and / or completeness of data.
  • Provide design sketches and coordinate work with other engineering departments during the design development stage.
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
  • Your Profile

  • 0 – 5 years’ experience
  • Being registered or be eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
  • Have a solid background or interest in Water Resource, Municipal, and / or Transportation sectors.
  • Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD is considered an asset.
  • Survey experience considered an asset.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
  • Consideration will be given to suitable intermediate level (5–10 years’ experience) candidates.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
