Responsibilities
- Establish and follow-up with new program implementation
- Prepare reports, charts and other documentation required for engineering records and projects.
- Prepare and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding program launch deliverables and milestones
- Investment Cost justification
- Follow up with new programs ensuring quality, productivity and equipment efficiency from start to program launch.
- Support implementation of engineering changes, quality improvements, continuous productivity improvements, cost reduction programs, and establish new methods or procedures.
- Mentor, coach and guide the engineering team
- Participate in recruiting of department personnel by conducting interviews as required.
- Develop good relationships with all levels of the organization.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering emphasis in Mechanical, Electrical or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive and Five (5) years or more is an asset)Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred and three (3) years or more is an asset)Robotic welding integration, optimization, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment (asset)Experience in the following areas : People Development (feedback / coaching, delegation, motivating others, performance management, communicating expectations).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
Good communication skills with audiences of all levels
Average computer skills (MS Office, Autocad and ADP)
Innovative mindset to continually adapt to changing business needs
Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork, conflict resolution)
