Key Responsibilities :
Field Leadership and Team Development :
Lead by example through active participation in field sales activities, demonstrating effective sales techniques and customer engagement.Mentor and coach regional sales managers and representatives, providing real-time feedback and support to enhance their performance.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence within the sales team.Strategic Collaboration with VP of Sales :
Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to align national sales objectives with overall company goals.Contribute to the development of comprehensive sales strategies, including market analysis, target setting, and resource allocation.Participate in regular strategy sessions to assess progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving market conditions.Sales Strategy and Execution :
Develop and implement national sales strategies to meet organizational goals and expand market share.Support the implementation of structured sales coaching and development frameworks to enhance team effectiveness.Participate in key customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, offering technical insights as needed.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and identify new business opportunities.Electrical Expertise (Not Essential) :
Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, and energy solutions to support sales initiatives and customer engagements.Serve as a technical resource for the sales team, providing guidance on product applications and customer needs.Stay current with industry advancements in electrical technologies and solutions to maintain a competitive advantage.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all sales activities and customer interactions.Customer Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across various industries.Work alongside the sales team to address customer needs and ensure high satisfaction.Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer experiences and foster long-term partnerships.Develop and implement customer retention strategies to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.Operational Oversight :Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.Help the VP manage budgets, forecasts, and resources to ensure efficient operations.Monitor and analyze sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize performance.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field. A strong technical background in electrical systems is required.
Experience :
Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in industrial, power generation, or related electrical sectors.Extensive experience in technical sales, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and applications.Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving team performance.Skills and Competencies :
