Our client is a leader in the home care industry in Canada and is continuing to grow and diversify. For many decades, their qualified and experienced staff have been helping people live better through a commitment to quality care and service that includes skilled nursing care, home health care, retirement living, and management and consulting services.

Reporting to the V.P. Finance, and managing a large professional team, the Director Finance will be an experienced finance leader who brings leading finance processes and analysis, strong leadership and team building experience to the role.

The Director Finance is responsible for all aspects of the financial and management reporting for a portfolio of care homes and will work closely with the leadership team on continuous improvement and analysis initiatives to optimize the financial performance of operations. There is a significant level of project and process improvement initiatives and opportunity for growth is excellent as the company continues to grow. The Director Finance will ensure consistency in reporting, policies and accounting procedures and FP&A standards across the business.

The successful candidate will be a CPA (must have accounting-firm training) with 10+ years of progressive experience in a large, complex environment, have excellent leadership ability and a process improvement mind-set. The company offers a positive and professional culture and a hybrid work from home model (2-3 days in office). Location is North GTA.
