Assistant Store Manager (Yorkdale, Toronto)
The RIMOWA Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager
in increasing the overall performance of the store. The Assistant Store Manager must lead the team in generating sales through exceptional client relations and product
knowledge while acting as an ambassador for the RIMOWA brand.
Job responsibilities
Sales and Client Relations
- Lead the team in achieving personal and store sales goals
- Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor
- Provide feedback to Store Manager on product assortment, buying trends
and customer requests
Provide training for team in selling techniques and product knowledgeLead team by example, demonstrating the highest level of service for a luxurybrand while cultivating new and existing clients
Act as a brand ambassador of RIMOWA, play an active role in thecommunity and seek outreach / networking opportunities
Team Management
Coach the sales team on performance, provide professional development, andnurture corporate culture
Motivate the sales team through the creation of a fun work environmentPractice / implement RIMOWA clienteling practices to build each teammembers business and overall store performance
Stock and Inventory Management
Communicate with manager to ensure inventory meets the needs of thebusiness
Manage all repair processes in coordination with RIMOWA policy andprocedures while providing exceptional customer service
Conduct inventory counts, manage RTV’s and overall stock movementEnsure accurate and efficient receipt and transfer of all goodsOperations
Maintain operation of all POS functions to ensure accurate store reporting andaccounting
Assists in weekly and monthly sales / marketing reports using Excel and Cegid.Manage any facilities issues as theyarise while controlling operational costsVisual Merchandising
Merchandise the store and execute window displays in accordance withcompany directives for collections
Maintain all display fixtures, lighting and marketing materialProfile
Completion of a High School diploma or equivalentMust possess at least 3 years’ experience in a retail environmentExperience working in a luxury retail environment an assetProven ability to drive sales from startup, execute events and work in concertwith marketing
It is preferred that the incumbent come with a strong existing network in theindustry and / or community
