Job Description :
Key responsibilities of this Senior Financial Analyst, External Reporting will include :
Prepare the quarterly and annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
- Deliver then quarterly and annual Financial Statements Notes and Cash Flow in accordance with IFRS
- Prepare and coordinate the production and delivery of the MD&A on a quarterly and annual basis
- Prepare technical accounting memos / analysis in accordance with IFRS
- Work with internal audit, certification program office and the external auditors to demonstrate execution of internal controls over financial reporting
- Participate in cross functional projects to deliver process enhancements and assess the internal controls to analyze and improve productivity of external reporting
- Participate in ad hoc projects, analysis, new accounting standards implementation and preparation of reports for management
- Liaise with Legal, Tax, Inventor Relations, FP&A and other business units to collect and validate information

Job Requirements :
- CPA designation (CA, CGA or CMA) required
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of relevant working experience in public accounting or industry
- Experience working at a Public Company
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Peoplesoft
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Solid analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
