POSITION OVERVIEW :
One ()regular part time Registered Practical Nurse opportunity is available immediately at the Palmerston and District Hospital site of North Wellington Health Care.
This position is unionized with OPSEU.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- BCLS Certification
- Medication Administration Course
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated lifelong learner
- Team player
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
HOURS OF WORK :
- Must be available to work all shifts and out of weekends as per collective agreement
- As per Department Schedule
