Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement and variance analysis.

• Review manual journal entries and prepare complex accounting entries.

• Take the lead in regional balance sheet analysis, review reconciliations, and enhance process quality.

• Execute and improve controls to ensure compliance with the global SOX program.

• Identify and champion process improvements within SOX and accounting operations.

• Support both internal and external audit activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

• Experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm (audit/assurance) with exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX, looking to transition into industry — or a CPA designation with drive to take the next step.

• Strong technical accounting skills and a passion for developing expertise in a complex public company environment.

• A desire to streamline and improve processes, with a strong continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience with an ERP software platform or direct involvement in an ERP implementation project will be considered an asset.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration capabilities.

• A proactive, solutions-focused, and curious mindset.
