Role : Manager, Compliance
- Please note that this is a full-time, in-office role. Offices are located downtown Toronto and in Hamilton. Preference is for Toronto-based candidates.
Reporting to the CCO / CRO, the responsibilities of this role include :
Providing subject matter expertise to business partners on a broad range of risk and compliance matters and actively work towards embedding a risk awareness culture throughout the organization;Supporting the CPO in operational privacy related requirements or tasks;Developing, implementing and maintaining risk and compliance policies, procedures and manuals;Leading annual risk and control assessments for Enterprise Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance Management;Monitoring and reporting on key risk and performance indicators within the business against prescribed limits;Leading department’s self-assessments against new and existing legislation and regulations;Executing the ongoing risk and compliance monitoring and testing program;Managing the findings management process and reporting;Preparing internal / external monthly, quarterly and annual reports for risk and compliance programs;Leading and / or represent risk and compliance on key projects;Assisting in the co-ordination of on-site and desktop regulatory examinations and information requests (OSFI, CDIC, FCAC, FINTRAC, etc.);Assisting in developing and delivering training and communications to ensure consistent application of risk and compliance policies; andStaying current with existing and new regulatory developments, including : OSFI Guidelines, Regulatory Compliance Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management.
