A career as a Senior Data scientist in the Compliance team at National Bank means acting as an expert in regulatory risk modelling. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your expertise in data science, analytical skills and mastery of visualisation and programming tools.
Your job
Develop analytical models to support regulatory oversight of investments in the wealth Management and Personal Banking sectors
Implement performance indicators (KPIs) and risk indicators (Kris) for senior management and business lines
Design interactive dashboards and self-service analysis tools in a dynamic environment
Help optimise data environments to promote business intelligence and advanced analytics
Produce risk reports for complex financial products across several business lines
Actively participate in committees and projects requiring a high level of data and compliance expertise
Your team
You are part of a multidisciplinary team of 12 colleagues with a wide range of expertise, including two other senior data scientists in Investment Compliance. Our team stands out for its innovation, agility and in-depth understanding of data from wealth Management and Personal Banking. Prerequisites
A completed bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field
Modelling and programming expertise (SAS, SQL PowerBI)
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Languages : English, French
Reason to require this language : you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
