Salary : $41.33 / hour

Mainland Excavation & Shoring is hiring! We are looking for experienced Operatorsto join our team.

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating an excavator in construction sites to support Excavation and Deep Foundations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work safely in a construction site and promote a safe work environmentadhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings.
• Responsible for daily maintenance and safety inspections of their assigned piece of equipment as outlined in Mainlands equipment policy
• Responsible for Maintaining pre-trip inspections / activity logs
• Operators are to operate their equipment in a manner as not to cause damage to the equipment or any surrounding structures or impediments and to do so safely to ensure the safety of themselves and others onsite
• Operators are expected to work with the Foreman to perform various tasks including but not limited to, excavations both bulk and / or detailed excavation, utility installations, grading, ditching, sloping etc. in accordance with the project specifications
• Ensure effective communication on progress and any potential issues are brought to the attention of the Foreman / crew
