Position Overview :

The Business Process Analyst – Continuous Improvement Specialist will play a strategic role in enhancing PTAG’s operational efficiency by collaborating with divisional managers and their teams to evaluate, streamline, and optimize processes. This individual will also focus on cross-divisional workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement in timeliness, productivity and adoption of technology used by the organization. Reporting directly to the Partner, Operations, the Business Analyst will be integral to PTAG's commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Process Analysis and Improvement :

Collaborate with divisional managers and teams to analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend actionable improvements.

Evaluate inter-divisional processes to streamline communication and coordination, improving timeliness and reducing redundancies.

Implement best practices in process improvement using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean or Agile methodologies, and workflow optimization techniques.

Collaborate with enterprise software implementation team to adopt and adapt existing workflows into an integrated platform.

Process Mapping and Visualization :

Utilize process mapping and visualization software to document workflows, highlight inefficiencies, and propose optimized solutions.

Develop detailed documentation, including flowcharts, process models, and improvement plans, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of proposed changes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication :

Act as a bridge between divisions, facilitating open communication to align goals and expectations.

Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership in clear, concise, and actionable formats.

Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across all levels of the organization.

Training and Support :

Provide training and support to teams in adopting new processes, tools, and methodologies.

Develop and deliver workshops or presentations to educate staff on continuous improvement strategies and tools.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Proven experience in process improvement, workflow analysis, or a similar role.

Certification or coursework in Six Sigma, Lean / Agile methodologies, or Kaizen is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in process mapping and workflow improvement tools such as Visio, Microsoft Power Automate or other workflow tools.

Experience in enterprise systems implementation, including working with technical teams in adapting user requirements to functional specifications.

Skills and Certifications :

Lean / Agile – Value Stream mapping, process mapping, swim lane diagrams, SIPOC diagrams, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Kanban, Cycle time, feature driven development.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical, results-driven solutions.
