Project Manager- IT Asset Management [BHJOB13022_13657]

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Project Manager – IT Asset Management to join our Client's team on a Contract basis. This role is Remote and the Client is based in Kamloops, BC.

Summary of the Role :

The Project Manager will lead complex IT Asset Management initiatives, managing resources, schedules, budgets, and vendor partnerships. This role involves agile project delivery, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and ensuring alignment to business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Lead agile project teams and vendor partners in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery activities.
• Create and maintain essential documentation : project plans, risk registers, status reports, timelines, and testing protocols.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and governance requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively and track deliverables against project milestones.
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, resolving conflicts and facilitating timely delivery.
• Apply hybrid and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

This is a 9-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role is 100% remote, and the Client will provide virtual desktop access but not a physical laptop. The successful candidate must use their own device. There are no onsite requirements or pre-offer processes such as background checks.
