Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) Launch Resident Engineer

Come join our team is this exciting opportunity as a Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) Launch Resident Engineer! The responsibility of this role is to deliver externally sourced new tooled parts for major vehicle and powertrain programs

As a key member of the Ford of Canada Supply Chain team, you can add critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want. If you have the background to develop strong, mutually beneficial supplier relationships that will result in decreased costs, improved quality, and enhanced sustainability, we want you to join us.

You'll have...

Education:

Bachelors in Engineering. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience of STA Quality tools and systems
• Experience in project management and/or program launch.

Even better, you may have...

Education:

Masters in Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written English proficiency, enabling clear, persuasive communication effectively fostering collaboration across global teams.
• Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• IPC610, SS Blackbelt, IATF16949 certifications are not mandatory but are an advantage.
