Job Title : Logistics Coordinator (OTR)

Industry : Third-Party-Logistics (Transportation)

Our client with over 30 years in the third party logistics industry, well known and respected company that is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator, preferably from the third-party-logistics sector.

Base salary negotiable depending on experience (55-65k)
Benefit package 50% covered by employer

Commissions for all employees on accounts brought in

Responsibilities

Organizing day to day operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)

Taking responsibility and performing tasks related to all moves for accounts assigned to you

Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment.

Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients and carries

Be able to handle several projects at the same time including track and trace

Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly

Qualifications

Minimum 2 year in logistics for over the road shipments (3PL industry or brokerage)

Strong customer service skills and negotiations skills

Passion for transport industry, strong work ethic and a drive to succeed

Organized, detail-oriented

Ability to work in a collaborative / team environment;

Fully bilingual (English / French, written / spoken)
