Lead Electrical Engineer

As the Lead Electrical Engineer you will utilize your electrical engineering design knowledge from the onset of design evolution through to successful project completion. Collaboration, strong client relationship building along with ethical and professional application will be fundamental to the success of this role.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare deliverables to facilitate project planning and budget control
• Review and execute electrical design and layout
• Review electrical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.).
• Attend project meetings to coordinate with other disciplines and project consultants
• Inspect project sites in order to monitor progress and ensure compliance with all safety and government regulations
• Complete technical reviews and provide recommendations regarding designs and reports
• Promote and maintain the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of electrical engineering work
• Complete audits of the work that is produced to ensure design is completed with quality and assurance
• Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients
• Provide mentorship to junior staff members
