Job Description
What you will be doing :
- Perform desk and computer relocations, including setting up Windows systems, POS terminals, and printers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic IT connectivity issues, escalating unresolved problems to internal teams.
- Install, update, and configure software and computer systems based on user requests.
- Handle the physical setup and maintenance of computers, monitors, and network devices such as switches, access points, and routers.
- Oversee hardware inventory and ensure organized storage.
- Provide daily walk-in IT support and manage related administrative tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve the IT environment and propose solutions.
- Adapt to production demands, including tasks requiring physical effort, such as lifting equipment up to 23kg.
- Collaborate with the regional IT team to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues, share knowledge, and prioritize tasks.
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including monitoring incidents and user requests to meet service level agreements.
- Develop and update installation procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Hourly pay rate starting at $28.00
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include :
Experience in IT and administration.Proficiency with ticket management systems and asset management tools.IT certifications or general knowledge in areas such as Windows Server (2016 / 2019), Windows desktop environments (Windows 11).Familiarity with desktop applications, including MS Office, SharePoint, Outlook, Webex, VPNs, intranet, and virtual computing tools.Strong understanding of IT network and telecommunications operations, particularly in Cisco infrastructure and Aruba network.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Additional Information
