About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Data Science, to join our growing team!

What you'll do here :

Manage a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing and applying Machine Learning models (pricing, telematics program, fraud, process automation, etc.).

Help build the industry’s best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and helping them grow their careers.

Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases and implement solutions.

What you bring to the table :

Minimum of five years’ professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management or coaching.

Data science enthusiast with a background in a related field, including (but not limited to) : Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics.

Understanding of underlying Machine Learning theory and the Predictive Modeling Lifecycle.

Previous experience in insurance or finance is an asset.

Strong communication, time management and work organization skills.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
