About the role :

Reporting to the Global Leader – Continuous Improvement, the Machine Development Engineer Co-op will play a crucial role in our continuous improvement works, collaborating with experienced professionals to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in plant / machine design and development processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing engineering or machine development to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Location :

This role is currently available on-site from our headquarters in Acton, Ontario.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in CAD design tasks, contributing to the development of machine prototypes, and plant design under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for improving machine design and functionality.
• Work with various software tools for CAD design and simulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through virtual platforms to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Document and report findings, observations, and test results accurately.
• Engage in meetings and training sessions provided by the company.
• Adhere to remote data privacy and security policies to ensure confidentiality and integrity of plant and machine designs and drawings.
