Job Title : Change Management Analyst / Vendor Engagement Analyst

Location : Edmonton, AB

Duration : 6-month Contract

Work Type : Onsite, Monday - Friday

About the Role :

The Vendor Engagement Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Vendor Engagement Program. This position requires a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and project management principles. As a key contributor, you will develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Project Management :

Develop and execute strategic engagement plans, including briefing packages and status reports.

  • Provide project management support, such as creating project plans, identifying resource requirements, and defining key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and Director to standardize project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • Develop and implement program resources to support stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage internal and external communications, including obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Create engaging program materials, such as presentations and educational resources.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Research and Analysis :

    • Conduct stakeholder mapping and consultation activities to gather insights.

  • Undertake research and business intelligence activities to support key initiatives.
  • Consolidate research findings into concise reports and presentations.

    • Required Skills and Experience :

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with procurement processes in a government setting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms, Excel)

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 15 AM to 4 : 30 PM (onsite)
  • Background Check : Standard background check required
  • Mandatory Training : Completion of mandatory training, including FOIP, security, information management, and workplace respect
  • Equipment : The Province will provide necessary office space, computer, and supplies
