Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan Consultant to develop a comprehensive communications strategy and implementation plan for our healthcare regulatory client in Ontario. As a Consultant, you will provide expertise in communications strategy and planning, conduct environmental scans, and develop a report to support the communications strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a project plan, including methodology and timeframe
- Meet with the Registrar & CEO or their designate(s) in a kick-off meeting to discuss specific strategic and operational goals, challenges, and opportunities
- Conduct environmental scans, including :
- Interviews with key stakeholders
- Targeted research and / or literature review
- Analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT)
- Analysis of Political, Economic, Sociological, Technological, Legal, and Environmental (PESTLE) factors
- Analysis of the organization's strategic plan as it pertains to communications
- Provide a report on research findings as background materials to support the communications strategy
- Develop a comprehensive communications strategy and implementation plan based on research findings and best practices
- Provide a summary written report describing the communications strategy and implementation plan
- Prepare and deliver a presentation to the Patient Relations Committee and Council describing the communications strategy and implementation plan
Requirements :
Experience in developing communications strategies and implementation plans for not-for-profit and regulatory organizationsStrong understanding of the healthcare regulatory fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a hybrid environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationRequirements :
Evidence of relevant experience in not-for-profit and regulatory communications strategy and planningQualifications and directly related experience of those who will be engaged in this assignmentOutline of knowledge and understanding of the health professions regulatory fieldRates per hour and per dayExpected time to complete each phase of the project (five phases : kick-off, research and environmental scans, analysis of research and environmental scans, preparation of communications strategy and implementation plan, and preparation of final report)Three references from clients for whom similar services have been provided in the last five yearsWhat We Offer :
