PrecisionERP is seeking a Marketing Writer / SEO Specialist for a client of ours. As a Marketing Writer / Content Writer, this would involve researching, interviewing, writing, editing and production of marketing content in various formats, including advertising and web copy writing.
In this role, candidates would be required to provide consultation, concept ideas, writing / marketing best practices and writing services.
Office location is downtown Ottawa, and the schedule is hybrid (two days onsite per week)
This role will require candidates to hold a valid Canadian Federal Security clearance.
Responsibilities :
- Develop persuasive and captivating ad copy for various B2B marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including print, digital, social media, and email.
- Conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, in order to provide written material.
- Produce written copy in the form of articles, success stories, case studies, landing pages, and other promotional material to promote client’s products.
- Ensure all copy is clear, concise, and adheres to brand guidelines, while maintaining a consistent tone and voice.
- Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability.
- Manage digital copydecks to ensure specifications are met for story text, photos.
- Manage relationships with vendors, internal clients and subject matter experts for promotional materials.
- Leverage GEN AI to support the development of identified content
- Oversee publication research, production, translation, web development to adhere to deadlines and budget requirements.
Requirements :
- Valid Canadian Federal Clearance
- University degree in marketing, journalism or communication
- Proven record of Inbound Marketing program / Experience in content creation and storytelling on digital platforms
- Portfolio of B2B content creation, ideally within the financial sector
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to optimize copy for search engines.
- Recognized writing skills, including advertising and web copy

- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) experience
Assets (not required) :
- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
- Experience in Agile marketing
- Customer focus with particular emphasis on digital journey and experience (digital literacy)
