Our client, a dynamic private equity firm, is seeking a Manager of Accounting to support strategic financial planning, reporting, and operational initiatives across its diverse portfolio, including manufacturing, business services, healthcare, technology, and real estate. What You Will Be Doing:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making and business growth
- Financial Reporting: Conduct variance analysis, KPI reporting, and trend analysis while ensuring compliance with IFRS and ASPE standards
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor working capital, manage bank positions and covenants, and oversee CapEx investments
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits, design and test internal controls, and mitigate financial risks
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare HST filings and assist with corporate tax requirements
What We Need From You:
- CPA designation required.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and full-cycle accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, and financial modelling
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Power BI, and advanced Excel
- Experience in private equity, real estate, or investment management is an asset
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
