Automotive Detailer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented team player to join our award winning team at Volvo Cars Lakeridge. As a Car Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing all new and used cars for deliveries. Performing full detailing for customer cars and for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of all vehicles on our lot, ensuring that they are presented in top condition to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail all vehicles on our lot, including interior and exterior cleaning, waxing, and polishing and buffing.
• Window tinting, PPF and ceramic coating experience
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as tire inflation, and battery charging.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues to management.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be restocked.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including lot organization and customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a car detailer or similar work.
• Be a reliable team member, punctual and professional at all times.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot potential issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Automotive Detailing: 2 years (required)
• Tinting, PPF, and/or Ceramic coating: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification

• Drivers license with a clean Drivers Abstract (required)
