About the Role:

Our banking client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data systems and pipelines supporting analytics and reporting for a collaborative team in the asset management industry. The role offers exposure to modern cloud technologies, AWS migration projects, and the opportunity to work on technology modernization initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Data Engineering and ETL development experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and Analytics concepts
• Experience with AWS tools (SageMaker, AWS Unified Studio)
• Proven track record in tech modernization/migration projects
• Banking industry experience

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with SAS and WebFOCUS
• Exposure to machine learning workflows and AWS SageMaker integration
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms
