About the position
The Facilitator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery facilitates U-First!® education for frontline staff in long-term care. U-First!® is a standardized, dementia training program that enhances the skills and knowledge of person-centred care practices of frontline care providers, supporting the development of a common knowledge base, language, values and approach to caring for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
As part of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s health-care provider education delivery team, you are responsible for the direct delivery of the U-First!® program to a health-care audience, as well as responding to participant inquiries and managing program registrations. You will maintain working relationships with past participants and long-term care home staff to support program uptake and ongoing participant engagement and success through the provincial community of practice. You will work closely with U-First!® Master Trainers and the Provincial Coordinator, Community of Practice, to ensure smooth program delivery and continued quality improvement.
In this role you report to the Manager, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery .
Title : Facilitator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery
Salary range (level 6) : $51,400 - $64,300 per year
Contract : Temporary until September 30, 2027 (3 year grant-funded term position)
Hours : Full time - 35 hours per week
Location : Hybrid – Based in any city in B.C. with access to a major airport (Fraser or Interior Health regions preferred)

You have a relevant degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, practical experience, and lived experience that equips you with the knowledge and skills needed for this role.
