Regional Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator

This role is located in Vancouver and delivers administrative and operational support to the Corporate HSE Manager and Operations Department.

Wage band: $78,811 to $98,514 annually based on relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a health and safety professional in an advisor role, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • NCSO, OHS Diploma, NEBOSH, & CRSP considered an asset
  • Valid Advanced First Aid Certification
  • Root Cause Investigation experience
  • Drivers Licence & Abstract Required
  • Ability to lead meetings & training sessions
  • COR Auditor Certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and other applicable regulations.
  • Strong understanding of the COR Audit process.
  • Team player with the ability to work with employees and business leaders at multiple levels.
  • Ability to influence Senior Regional Management in both compliance and engagement of Health & Safety.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and prioritization.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Procore, and PDF creation & editing.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Specific safety-related training relative to Construction.
  • Experience with policy review, creation, and implementation.
  • Strong communicator, relationship builder, and business partner.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and independent problem‑solving skills.
  • Travel required to assigned branches and various project sites across the Lower Mainland on a regular basis to champion boots‑on‑the‑ground safety.
