The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling principles and extensive experience working with legacy applications, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud-based environments. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to design and implement robust data models that support business objectives and modernization efforts.Key Responsibilities : Data Modeling & Design : Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements.Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.Translate business needs into well-structured data solutions.Develop and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices.Legacy & Modernization Expertise : Assess and understand existing legacy application data structures.Forward-thinking approach to migrating data models from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.Ensure seamless integration of legacy systems with modern cloud-based solutions.Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and software developers.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Data Governance & Quality : Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.Work with stakeholders to improve data quality, lineage, and metadata management.Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and provide insights.Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.Present data models and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.RequirementsTechnical Skills : Proven experience in data modeling for both relational and NoSQL databases.Expertise in data modeling tools such as Erwin, IBM Infosphere Data Architect, or similar.Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native data solutions.Experience with ETL / ELT processes and tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalents.Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.Experience with Guidewire is desirable but not essential.Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.Experience : Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data modeling and database design.Experience working on large-scale data initiatives in complex IT environments.Why Join Us?Work on cutting-edge data architecture and modernization projects.Opportunity to shape enterprise-level data modeling standards and strategies.Collaborative, innovative, and growth-focused team environment.Competitive salary, benefits, and flexible work arrangements.If you are a strong data modeler looking to make a significant impact in a data-driven organization, apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
