Job Responsibilities : Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and procedures.* Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.* Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.* Assist in preparing for external audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.* Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances.* Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective actions.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and corrective action plans.* Prepare and present quality reports to management.* Assist in training employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.* Work with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed. Qualifications : Technologist / Technician Diploma in Engineering required.* Certification as an CQE would be an asset.* 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in automotive manufacturing.* Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques; including knowledge of quality management systems, as well as design output, metrology and instrumentation.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Working Conditions : The role may require occasional travel to supplier sites and other company locations.* Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, and other industrial hazards.
