Position : Logistics Coordinator

Location : Port Coquitlam BC

Shifts : Monday Friday 9 : 30am 6 : 00pm

What youll do :

• Keep completed staged orders segregated by destination and clearly marked so that orders get loaded into the correct truck.
• Ensure transferred special orders from stores coming into L1 are staged with Quick Pick orders picked at L1.
• Cover for the Logistics supervisor during their absence.
• Ensure all product is clearly labelled with the Store number and name.
• Ensure all the Dangerous Goods paperwork (if required) and invoices are with the correct shipment.
• When time permits help the drivers load their trucks in the most cost-effective way without an opportunity to damage the goods in transit EI Max the cubic space but do not top load heavy items on crushable goods.
• Scan invoices into Elite Extra and ensure routes are being assigned to the correct driver.
• Ensure all product matches the invoices and are segregated by store in clearly marked containers.
• Look for any unsafe practices or work areas and report them to a Safety Committee member. Keep current with product knowledge on Dangerous goods fragile goods weights and packaging.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

The starting wage is $22.00-$27.00 / hr based on leadership experience.
