At CIMA+, we are expanding our geographic presence in Western Canada, particularly in the Vancouver region, to support our strategic growth. In the Quality and Operational Excellence team (Q&OE) we are looking for a new team member to join as a Quality Advisor . This role will belong to a dynamic individual who is not afraid of a challenge and can work in a busy environment providing a variety of services to a wide range of teams.
Under the supervision of Quality Manager, and in close collaboration with other members of Q&OE and regional management teams, this person's mission will be to act as a facilitator between the reality in the field and the company's quality management system, from a quality assurance perspective.
This position could be based out of the CIMA+ offices in Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary under a hybrid work agreement.
Responsibilities
- Carry out specific quality management activities, including, but not limited to :
Prepare, conduct, and report on internal quality audits (or verify content produced by others)
Produce and maintain the internal quality audit plan, including the quality control aspectPrepare and support external quality audits, open, and participate in action plan(s) based on findingsAnalyze the causes of non-conformities : conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, coordinate and lead workshops (or verify content produced by others)Support continuous improvement projects with internal and external stakeholdersAssist various CIMA+ teams in implementing systems, processes, procedures, tools, etc. Assist in the production of change management plan to facilitate implementationAssist employees and managers in the application of the quality management system and in their various requestsAct as change management leader, facilitator, and mobilizerSupport the production of training material (or verify content produced by others) and provide ongoing quality training to employees and managersParticipate in mergers & acquisitions from a support and integration perspective of CIMA+’s quality management systemEstablish and maintain a relationship of trust with colleagues and customers, both internal and externalCollaborate with regional sector management teams and office managers
Act as central point of contact between employees and other quality stakeholdersSupport sectors in the sound management of quality-related risksParticipate in team meetings to follow-up on quality issues and influence decision-making, when necessary

University degree in one of the following fields : engineering, project management or any other relevant disciplineMinimum 7 years' experience in quality assurance, including a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position working with NCR / CARExperience in the consulting engineering sector or in a service company an important assetAdvanced knowledge of quality and continuous improvement toolsISO 9001 : 2015 experience and auditing certificationsStrong MS Office 365 skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills and the ability build strong internal relationshipsDemonstrate adaptability, flexibility, autonomy, and agilityBilingual (English / French) an assetLean Six Sigma green belt (or higher) certification an assetThe expected salary for this position is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
