Project Controls Analyst
Agilus is recruiting for a Project Controls Analyst in the Construction Industry in Calgary, Alberta.
We are looking for a Project Controls Analyst to support our client in their wind farm project near Medicine Hat for three-months.
At the conclusion of field execution work / project closeout activities, you will be either based in Acheson or Calgary, AB location.
The position is based on a rotational schedule with 3 weeks on, 1 week off. The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible to participate in the development of the project schedule, development / reviews of execution plans, progress measurement, ensuring the safety and quality components.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and update the progress worksheet, detail schedules and graphs for control and reporting purposes
- Record progress and deviation against project schedule
- Track and report on the project schedule
- Monitor and validate project quality progress
- Generate project status reports
- Monitor, evaluate and report project costs against budgets
Successful candidates will have :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar field Project Management, Project Controls Certification is considered an asset
- 5+ years of related experience on construction projects in the industrial construction industry with the primary focus on project controls, planning, scheduling, cost control, change management, risk management and reporting
- Proven experience with cost and schedule control systems, resource planning, procurement, and earned value management
- Fluency with unit rates, material and equipment pricing, labor pricing and other estimate components and techniques
- Proficient skills with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Primavera P6 is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and current clean drivers abstract is required
- Ambitious, pro-active, high-energy, positive and safety focused attitude and a team player
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
