About the role
We’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager, Property to join our growing team!
As a Unit Claims Manager , you will be responsible for leading a high performing team of Property Claims Representatives. You will work in a results-driven, but highly rewarding environment to meet profitability objectives, productivity standards and the industry's highest level of customer satisfaction. This team is one of the primary points of contact for any major weather event occurring in the Atlantic region, and therefore you will be responsible for coordinating a large volume of claims intake at times.
The successful candidate can be based out of our Dieppe, NB, St. John's, NL or Dartmouth, NS offices.
What you’ll do here :
- Mentor and coach team members.
- Achieve Intact's corporate and regional objectives by monitoring and measuring key performance indicators and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Make decisions regarding claims handling and payments.
- Assist in improving operational processes.
- Negotiate with vendors, brokers, and customers.
