Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translating business needs into analytics / reporting requirements to support decisions and workflows with required information;
  • Plan and execute data analysis leading to actionable insights for internal stakeholders;
  • Prepare high-impact data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations to communicate key findings with actionable insights to key business leaders;
  • Drive and champion data fluency throughout the organization through the creation of standardized metrics, intuitive dashboards, and compelling business insights;
  • Lead team member(s) to translate complex analytical tasks into actionable insights and easily consumable outputs;
  • Synthesize complex data analyses and communicate clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization;
  • Craft compelling dashboards and visualizations to tell the story of the business;
  • Define and manage processes needed to achieve operational excellence for the team;
  • Leading the development and building of frameworks and processes to analyze unstructured data as well as data from traditional sources;
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions;
  • Improve, automate, and simplify existing reporting, and ensure it is clearly communicated to stakeholders in business context;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets. Preparing reports that effectively communicate trends and patterns;
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets that could be helpful for the business;
  • Derive actionable insights from data sets;
  • Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations;
  • Reviewing and analyzing data from multiple sources and communicating results and recommendations;
  • Data mining and validating data integrity;
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan;
  • Working knowledge with concepts like customer lifecycle management and customer lifetime value;
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress;
  • Support the Director of Customer Experience and Insights with larger analytics projects and ad-hoc requests;
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures;
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

Job Qualification

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success and experience in relevant field Data Analysis, quantitative analysis;
  • Ability to parse data that can drive actionable insights and decisions;
  • A self-starter with a curious nature and passion for data; you think outside the box and around the corner with fierce attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment;
  • Proficiency with BI visualization tool;
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task;
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and business research tools acumen;
  • Familiarity with CRM programs;
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining;
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively;
  • Project Management skills and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to command many details simultaneously;
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful;
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • and ensure high quality deliverables;
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft Excel for data analysis;
  • Demonstrated prioritization ability, solution oriented and resilient with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
