Petroleum Mechanic

PTW is hiring a Petroleum Mechanic to join our team for future work in the GTA. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

Job Details:

• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Working Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Rate: $44 - $50
• Travel Pay: Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area

Day in the life:

• Install, maintain, and repair petroleum handling equipment, product lines, and mechanical systems within terminal or bulk plant facilities.
• Perform piping, mechanical, and containment system repairs following environmental and safety regulations.
• Conduct system inspections, leak tests, and preventative maintenance on fueling and product transfer systems.
• Support shutdowns, retrofits, and commissioning tasks on site.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with operations and instrumentation teams to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid PM3 or PMH Certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in petroleum handling, terminal maintenance, or mechanical/pipefitting work.
• Understanding of environmental codes and petroleum equipment safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to terminal sites as required.
• Safety tickets such as CSTS, WHMIS, and TDG considered assets.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
