About the role
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will oversee a team of sellers consulting with clients and selling Insight’s products and services. You will provide team guidance and best practices to help your teams be their best for their clients, their teammates and the organization. Along the way, you will get to:
- Be responsible for a team of sales professionals and provide the direction, coordination, and evaluation within the respective market segment.
- Contribute to the continued growth of Insight by consistently achieving sales goals, finding creative ways to grow market share and execute strategic forecasting and budget associated with sales activities.
- Keep open communication channels with top clients, sales management and your team of sellers regarding sales leads, market challenges, and competitive activity.
- Provide hands-on coaching, counseling, and training to their team.
- Partner up with the inside and outside sales reps within Insight’s extensive partner community to actively pursue new business, follow up and help close deals.

What we’re looking for
- BS/BA with a minimum of four to eight years’ experience in the computer industry calling on accounts.
- Two years’ experience in sales management, and previous experience hiring, motivating and managing employees.
- Previous management of a reseller sales force is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of success in B2B sales.
