Business Systems Analyst

Introduction
Our client is seeking a Financial Systems Business Analyst to take on a pivotal role in partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders to design, implement, and support end-to-end business application solutions with OneStream. This position involves gathering requirements, creating detailed technical documentation, building and deploying business models, and providing ongoing daily support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance OneStream frameworks
- Translate business requirements into functional solution design options and ensure all business requirements and functional designs are understood and delivered as desired
- Collaborate with IT teams on any issues involving architecture and design of data repositories, including development of new tables and OneStream frameworks.
- Develops / maintains appropriate documentation on reports / dashboards / scorecards, during the development lifecycle.
- Able to manage the change and release management of development, updates and upgrades
- Provide OneStream & Blackline administrative support for functions such as Server configuration (architecture and design) and Security (ex. permissions for users, managing capabilities for license types).
- Provide continuous improvement and collaboration with the Finance community to provide OneStream coaching and support.
- Ability to interface with business application users at all levels to ensure that proper customer requirements are captured and understood
- Able to manage metadata, write business rules, automate data flows, and build complex reports within OneStream application
- Ability to manage SIT & UAT Testing, defect tracking, defect resolution, ongoing status reporting
- Respond to and address user requests via ticketing process preferable to have experience in Service now
- Develop long term partnerships with business partners, vendors and employee groups.

- Able to work flexibly to support cross time-zone activities
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Business System Analyst experience within Agile / Waterfall environment desiredMust have 3+ years experience with OneStream or other major ERP systemsCPA designation is strongly desiredExperience implementing IT projects for finance stakeholders in a global environment preferredBachelor's degree in finance / accounting, business, or related fieldMust have hands on experience in authoring functional Design documentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSQL experience. Ability to read / write SQL queries and stored procedures desiredProven ability to develop functional and technical design specifications.Experience with other financial planning tools such as Oracle Hyperion, Essbase,TM1, Cognos, Adaptive, Planful, Anaplan, Blackline is a plusUnderstanding of basic bookkeeping, accounting and financial analysis and reporting Understanding of standard IT change management practices and development lifecycleExcellent oral and written communication skillsHigh degree of focus and follow-up and outcomesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable and a positive attitudeWhat We Offer
