At Mechasys, we believe the construction industry deserves tools as precise and innovative as the finished article it creates. Thats why weve developed the XR Projector, a state-of-the-art 3D positioning tool that brings blueprints to life, directly on the job site. Using BIM / CAD models, our XR Projector projects blueprints at a 1 : 1 scale with millimetre accuracy, eliminating guesswork, cutting rework by up to 50%, and helping teams complete projects faster and smarter.

The Mission

This is not a typical Inside Sales role. You are the first inside sales hire at a high-growth, deep-tech company. Your mission is to build the outbound sales engine from the ground up. You will be responsible for generating the initial pipeline, qualifying complex, high-value leads, and co-authoring the sales playbook that Mechasys will use to scale. We need a "builder" who is meticulous, relentless, and eager to own a critical function of the company.

Core Responsibilities

1. Aggressive Outbound Prospecting (Hunter Mentality)

  • Execute high-volume, targeted outbound prospecting campaigns (personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging) to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) in the construction industry (e.g., General Contractors, BIM Managers, VPs of Operations).
  • Research key accounts to identify project opportunities and map organizational structures to find the "Champion" and "Technical Validator."
  • Develop and iterate on outbound messaging in collaboration with leadership.

2. Rigorous Lead Qualification

  • Act as the first point of contact for all new business, managing and qualifying both inbound and outbound-generated leads.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand a prospect's current layout processes, technical requirements, project timelines, and purchasing authority.
  • Master the Mechasys value proposition and sales methodology to skillfully navigate objections and differentiate us from legacy methods.
  • Book qualified, high-value product demonstrations and meetings for the executive and field sales teams.
  • 3. Foundational CRM & Revenue Operations

  • Take absolute ownership of CRM data integrity. As the primary user, you will be responsible for ensuring our CRM is clean, accurate, and the single source of truth.
  • Meticulously log all sales activities, update lead / contact / opportunity statuses, and clean existing data.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and build the first generation of sales reports to measure what's working.
  • Qualifications & Attributes

  • Required :
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a B2B sales role (e.g., SDR, BDR, Inside Sales), preferably in a high-growth startup.

  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas through outbound prospecting.
  • Experience with complex, high-ACV (Average Contract Value) sales cycles (e.g., deep-tech, hardware, or complex enterprise SaaS).
  • Meticulous attention to detail. You must be obsessed with data hygiene and CRM discipline.
  • A "builder" and "owner" mentality. You thrive in ambiguity and are excited by the challenge of creating processes from scratch.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English; French is a major asset).
  • Bonus Points (Preferred) :
  • Experience in ConTech (Construction Technology), robotics, or a related hardware / SaaS field.

  • Familiarity with the personas and business model of the commercial construction industry.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered sales augmentation tools.

    La Mission

    Ce n'est pas un rle de ventes internes typique. Vous tes le premier employ aux ventes internes d'une entreprise deep-tech forte croissance. Votre mission est de btir le moteur des ventes externes (outbound) partir de zro. Vous serez responsable de la gnration du pipeline initial, de la qualification de leads complexes et de grande valeur, et de la co-rdaction du guide de vente (sales playbook) que Mechasys utilisera pour voluer. Nous avons besoin d'un btisseur qui est mticuleux, implacable et dsireux de s'approprier une fonction critique de l'entreprise.

    Responsabilits Principales

    1. Prospection Externe Agressive (Mentalit de Chasseur)

  • Excuter des campagnes de prospection externe cibles et grand volume (courriels personnaliss, messagerie LinkedIn) auprs des PCI (Profils de Clients Idaux) dans le secteur de la construction (par exemple, Entrepreneurs Gnraux, Gestionnaires BIM, VPs des Oprations).
  • Effectuer des recherches sur les comptes cls pour identifier les opportunits de projet et cartographier les structures organisationnelles afin de trouver le Champion et le Validateur Technique .
  • Dvelopper et amliorer la messagerie de prospection externe en collaboration avec la direction.
  • 2. Qualification Rigoureuse des Leads

  • Agir en tant que premier point de contact pour toutes les nouvelles affaires, grant et qualifiant les leads gnrs la fois en inbound et en outbound.
  • Mener des appels de dcouverte approfondis pour comprendre les processus de traage actuels d'un prospect, les exigences techniques, les chanciers de projet et l'autorit d'achat.
  • Matriser la proposition de valeur et la mthodologie de vente de Mechasys pour naviguer habilement dans les objections et nous diffrencier des mthodes traditionnelles.
  • Planifier des dmonstrations de produits et des runions qualifies et de grande valeur pour les quipes de direction et de vente sur le terrain.
  • 3. Gestion Fondamentale du GRC et des Oprations de Revenus

  • Assumer la pleine responsabilit de l'intgrit des donnes du GRC (CRM). En tant qu'utilisateur principal, vous serez responsable de vous assurer que notre GRC est propre, prcis et qu'il est la source unique de vrit.
  • Enregistrer mticuleusement toutes les activits de vente, mettre jour les statuts des leads / contacts / opportunits et nettoyer les donnes existantes.
  • Suivre les ICP (Indicateurs Cls de Performance) et laborer la premire gnration de rapports de vente pour mesurer ce qui fonctionne.
  • Qualifications et Attributs

    Requis :

  • 2 4 ans et plus d'exprience dans un rle de vente B2B (par exemple, SDR, BDR, Ventes Internes), de prfrence dans une start-up forte croissance.
  • Historique avr de dpassement des quotas grce la prospection externe.
  • Exprience des cycles de vente complexes VCM (Valeur de Contrat Moyenne) leve (par exemple, deep-tech, hardware ou SaaS d'entreprise complexe).
  • Attention mticuleuse aux dtails. Vous devez tre obsd par l'hygine des donnes et la discipline du GRC.
  • Une mentalit de btisseur et de propritaire . Vous excellez dans l'ambigut et tes enthousiasm par le dfi de crer des processus partir de zro.
  • Comptences exceptionnelles en communication verbale et crite (anglais ; le franais est un atout majeur).

  • Exprience en ConTech (Technologie de la Construction), en robotique ou dans un domaine hardware / SaaS connexe.
