This is a permanent, full-time position on the day shift from Monday to Friday.
Position Description
As this industry-leader’s newest Millwright , you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery and mechanical systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Working within a dynamic and safety-focused environment, your experience and expertise will contribute to seamless production and support the company’s commitment to excellence.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and industrial systems.
- Installs, aligns, and dismantles machinery as required for new and existing projects.
- Ensures compliance with safety and operational standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborates with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Experience
3 – 5 years of hands-on experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Stick or TIG welding experience required.Proven expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems is an asset.Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Qualifications
Must have, or must be working towards, your 433A Millwright license.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and overtime, when required.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Education
Must have, or must be working towards, your 433A Millwright license.
