Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a large, distributed workforce across North America. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume employee population across Canada and the US.
• Ensure accuracy across wages, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. and Canadian payroll, employment, and tax regulations, including required filings and reporting.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving discrepancies and addressing employee questions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR and Finance to support payroll operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes and related workflows.
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations as needed.
