As a vital member of the Production team, this position will involve cross-training across all positions within Manufacturing & Assembly.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery
- Pick product from inventory for production line
- Ability to operate pressure test equipment with strong attention to detail
- Make adjustments to the product as necessary to ensure product is within
specifications and good workmanship
Proper housekeeping using 5S initiativesFollow both Safran Production guidelines and Safran Policies & Procedures asper AS9100 QMS
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
1-2 years assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of basic hand toolsBlueprint reading with very good attention to detailGood oral, written and English reading comprehensionStrong measuring skills and basic MathAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlinesBe safety conscious and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.Positive attitude, adaptable and a team playerAvailability for overtime when requiredMinimum Grade 12 or EquivalentCanadian citizen or valid permanent resident cardClear criminal recordA condition of employment will be completing a security assessment toensure eligibility under Canada's Controlled Goods Program
