Dynamic Funds is currently looking for a Vice President, Business Development - Systemized Solutions to join the Dynamic National Sales Team and facilitate our innovative Investment Management Workshop.

  • As Dynamic's newest VP, Business Development - Systemized Solutions you will have 3 primary responsibilities.
  • 1. Prospecting

    The successful VPSS candidate must possess the ability to prospect, qualify and enroll advisors in the Investment Management Workshop.

    Prospecting will be the critical factor in achieving your sales and activity targets.

    2. Facilitation

    The primary responsibility of the VPSS is to facilitate the Investment Management Workshop.

    The IMW is a comprehensive investment management workshop designed to be conducted on a one-to-one basis with the Investment Advisor.

    To that end, the successful candidate will facilitate the Workshop according to the IMW Agenda while ensuring that each experience is unique to that participant.

    3. Administration

    The successful VPSS candidate must possess strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.

    These skills will be critical to the candidate's ongoing success in this role.

    Qualifications :

  • A CFA is required for this role
  • Additional accreditations, such as CAIA, CIMA, or CIM are strongly preferred
  • A solid understanding of modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, risk management, and financial planning
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in financial services with a focus on Sales and / or Investment and Product Management
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with a proven ability to effectively lead discussions and workshops
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships and engaging diverse audiences
  • Intermediate to Advanced level knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • BA Degree from a post-secondary institution
  • Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French because : they will be required to work closely with other groups from head office who operate primarily in English, they will report to a manager from head office who is an English speaker, and / or they will serve and English-speaking clientele."
