Job descriptionEffectue diverses tâches de bureau et assurer la liaison des communications pour l’unité. Effectue diverses tâches liées aux soins et au confort des patients, ainsi que des tâches d’entretien pour maintenir la propreté des lieux (environ 10% à 90% selon l’unité, le taux d'occupation et le quart de travail). Previous related work experience preferred. Expérience de travail connexe de préférence. Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required. Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload. Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands. Ability to follow direction. Ability to perform as a team member and seek assistance as necessary. General administrative and secretarial skills and ability to perform all tasks and responsibilities relevant to duties of the position. Demonstrates excellent communication skills ensuring effective interpersonal and interdepartmental communication. Utilize a positive approach to problem-solving in all aspects of job responsibilities. Compétences générales pour les tâches administratives et de secrétariat et capacité d’effectuer toutes les tâches et d’assumer les responsabilités liées aux fonctions du poste. Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication afin d’assurer des communications interpersonnelles et interservices efficaces. Adoption d’une approche positive pour résoudre des problèmes dans tous les aspects des responsabilités liées à l’emploi. Capacité d’utiliser le matériel de technologie de l’information selon les besoins, p. ex. télécopieur, photocopieur, ordinateur, etc. Must be able to function effectively in a stressful environment with frequent interruptions. Position may involve physical activity such as lifting, transferring and transporting patients and equipment. Position Overview
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services, or Nurse in Charge, the incumbent :
- Performs a variety of clerical tasks and acts as a communication link for the unit.
- Performs a variety of tasks for the care and comfort of patients as well as routine domestic tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the area (approximately 10-90% dependent on unit, occupancy and shift).
