Civil Project Manager - Municipal Infrastructure
Location: Timmins, ON
Base Salary: $115,000–$139,500
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure and heavy civil projects in the Timmins region. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on safety, schedule, cost control, and client satisfaction.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on civil construction professional who understands the demands of northern Ontario work and enjoys delivering infrastructure projects that support local communities.
What You’ll Do
- Manage civil construction projects from award through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal field teams
- Oversee contract administration, change management, and progress billing
- Lead project meetings and act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Support estimating, planning, and work acquisition efforts as needed

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years of experience managing civil construction projects
- Background in civil infrastructure such as roads, highways, earthworks, utilities, water/sewer, or municipal works
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Experience working with public-sector owners and consultants
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
