Position Description

This hybrid role requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office (CGI Toronto) at a minimum 3 days per week. We are looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Banking Services team in Toronto. The role provides hands‑on leadership, guiding development and support teams in delivering reliable and high‑performing banking applications. You will drive automation, support production stability, and contribute to modernization efforts using Azure, PySpark, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and leadership across multiple banking systems.
• Lead design, deployment, and troubleshooting efforts in Production and Non‑Production environments.
• Enhance automation and CI / CD pipelines for greater efficiency.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Participate in on‑call and weekend rotations for production support.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices.
