Essential Responsibilities
- Attend GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program
- Use professional expertise to recommend teaching and learning content and create custom lesson plans for students of varying skill levels
- Recommend appropriate GOLFTEC services for each student, including TECFIT Club Fitting, outdoor playing lessons, short game lessons, etc.
- Document each lesson given and publish recaps to our online portal using GOLFTEC’s proprietary TECSWING teaching software
- Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology
- Perform daily opening & closing functions for the Training Center, including preparing GOLFTEC teaching systems for use
- Participate in continuing education to enhance skills (distance learning, PGA Section seminars, etc.)
- Mobility is an essential function of this career. Coaches generally need physical capabilities to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for sometimes extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds

Compensation
GOLFTEC Coaches work together as a team. GOLFTEC Coaches are paid a competitive base rate along with commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components.
Base compensation is in the form of an hourly rate plus overtime, and is based on location, and experience. Monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based compensation components are based on the Center’s performance as well as individual performance.

- Ten (10) paid holidays : New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- All Coaches accrue paid Personal Time Off and are also awarded Personal Days which can be used to take time off from normally scheduled workdays

- $500 relocation bonus
- NonClass A PGA members receive $500 annually to assist with the costs of PGA of Canada Professional Education
- 100% of PGA Dues paid annually
