We are currently looking for an on-site Inspector, Boiler, and Pressure Vessel Program for a customer in Cambridge. Inspector employees are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employee Union OPSEU / SEFPO, Local 546.Job Responsibilities : Promote public safety through the periodic / in-service inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure pipingPerform conventional and nuclear shop inspections for the manufacturing of boilers and pressure vesselsApply your technical proficiency by conducting welder and brazer tests and by monitoring repairs and alterations to boilers and pressure vesselsDevelop progressive relationships with your internal and external customers to promote safety-oriented resultsJob Qualifications : Qualified to write the Ontario Certificate of Competency Must have an 'A' Endorsement and will be able to obtain the National Board 'In-Service' and 'AI' Commission and ‘N’ EndorsementsAt least five years’ experience in the BPV industry is coupled with a comprehensive understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV RegulationsAs this position requires daily travel, a valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
